Abuse and brokenness are where we start, in Paper Stones, but better things are on the way

Has anyone had an experience like the healing in Paper Stones? Do you think it's possible to have deep down change from feeling broken to feeling better? I actually have, so I know it can happen. I'm happy when the book finds its way to anyone who can use a boost.
